Children learn better when they have a predictable schedule to follow. Consistency creates a stable experience for the pre-schoolers. There is fun to be had, things to explore, games to play, and ideas to form.
PG-1 focuses on fun activities such as role-plays, games, singing, free play, and lots more. There is no pressure on the child and exposes them to a friendly structured environment. The focus is entirely on the needs of the child and the activities revolve around fulfilling such needs.
PG2 focuses on positive encouragement and introduces concepts in the areas of Gross and Fine Motor skills development, creative thinking, arts, phonics, science, and mathematics. Positive character development is encouraged for traits of empathy, responsibility, sharing, and healthy relationship building with peers.
Books, stories, songs, and poems. Learning the connections between words and letters, phonics and rhyming and similies. Numbers and number-bonds, peoples and animals, places and space. The thinking and imagination foundation is build upon the existing momentum of curiosity and exploration.
Foundation Stage 2 is the culmination of all the effort and dedication the teachers and children themselves have been working on in the past few years. It is now the time to experience the concepts and theories through work-based activities.
